Professor Emeritus in the Department of Classics John Traill was honoured at an international symposium held by the Greek Epigraphic Society in Athens on April 28th and 29th. The two day conference featured talks by many prominent international scholars speaking on Greek epigraphy and Prof. Traill's contribution to its study.
Founded in 1985, the Greek Epigraphic Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to the pursuit and worldwide study of Ancient Greek inscriptions.
